This is a high-end executive home on the golf course at Stonebridge resort in Branson, Missouri. The resort owners appreciated the staging
so much that they offered to include the house in their nightly rental program (an offer they were unwilling to make previously.) As a result, the owners decided to keep the home and anticipate a significant positive cash flow from the nightly rental activity.
For this home, we decided to lightly stage with rental furniture, being careful to keep the use of furniture at a minimum in order to retain the extra-large feel of each of the rooms. The home is 4200 Sq. Ft. with 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and a large family room. We knew to leave the spaces mostly empty, maintaining a balance of elements and creating a pleasant focal point in each room. This is a good example of the difference between staging and interior decorating. It is much more expensive to decorate. With just the right amount of staging elements, including whimsical items, we make our homes pleasant and memorable, while allowing the visitors to imagine themselves living there with their own belongings and furniture. Our staging sometimes produces surprising results: While we typically achieve a sale in half the time at a higher price than an unstaged home, occasionally the owners themselves fall in love with their home all over again and decide not to sell after all!
